A gentle introduction to the world of Bonsai. Perfect for first-timers who want to create their very first tree and spend an unhurried afternoon learning among plants. Learn the art of bonsai through hands-on making, guided practice, and time among the trees.

 

What You’ll Learn

• Introduction to bonsai philosophy
• Basics of pruning, potting, and styling
• Understanding bonsai maintenance
• The five fundamental bonsai styles

You will make one bonsai during the class and take it home to begin your journey.

 

What’s Included

• 3–4 year old tropical bonsai tree
• Bonsai pot, soil, wire, moss, and accessories
• Use of bonsai tools during the session
• Printed class notes
